During Sheila Stotler’s Workshop for the Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Program (IGEI), college-bound students learned how to discover and define their own brand, gain awareness of their current network and how to leverage it professionally, as well as to how to prepare for an interview.

In our exercise on how to prepare for an interview and leave a lasting impression, we covered three key components: 

  • Research: the company, the industry, the interviewer

  • Incorporate your brand: how you carry yourself, how you dress, what you say, how you say it

  • Relentless preparation is key
