Sheila will be presenting at the 2018 Conference of African American Financial Professionals! She will be discussing the importance of knowing Medicare rules when completing a financial plan.
The presentation will explain the 4 parts of Medicare, its cost and the rules surrounding the "who pays first" question.
We were honored to welcome Danita Yetter, a scholarship recipient at the Penn Mutual Center for Veterans at The American College to our May Chapter meeting. Danita is the spouse of a retired Navy officer and works with military families regarding financial education. We truly enjoyed having the opportunity to hear her story. In March, Christine Hennigan, ChFC®, CDFA® and Heather Yonosh, FSA, MAAA, spoke at Widener University on behalf of the WIFS Philadelphia Tri-County Chapter. They hosted an interactive discussion with students in the Money Club about the structure of insurance products and incorporating them into a client’s overall financial plan.
In February, Sheila Bonitz, Carol Brian and Jennifer Warfield, CFP®, participated in Millersville University’s Career Week! The three WIFS Philadelphia Tri-County chapter members spoke on the “Insight to a career in Wealth Management” panel and provided valuable advice on defining your own career path within the financial services industry.

The WIFS 80 Year Anniversary Video Debuted At Conference
The combined total income of the 189 qualifiers reached $55.9 million, this is a $9.8 million increase over last year!
This represents a 24% increase in WIFS National members who elected to participate and be recognized.
We are proud of the outstanding achievements of this group and especially our own Phila/Tri-County Chapter members.
