Jen has spent over 20 years in the financial services profession. Since joining National Life in 2007, she has worked with some of its largest marketing organizations in the Independent Distribution channel to develop sales, provide agent training and external marketing support. Jen is Pennsylvania insurance licensed and Series 7 registered with FINRA.  Jen volunteers regularly and serves as an Ambassador for Best Friends Animal Society and is a part of the Women for Greater Philadelphia.

 

Sheila Bonitz, AIF®, MBA

Secretary/Treasurer

Sheila has spent her career focused on developing and enhancing investment and technology solutions to help meet the needs of financial institutions, advisors and investors. Sheila currently is responsible for product management and development of investment solutions throughout the product life cycle. She is a graduate of Millersville University with a B.S. in Computer Science and earned her M.B.A. from Saint Joseph's University. In addition, Sheila holds FINRA 6 and 63 licenses and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF).

 

Jean A. Hempel, CIMA

Director

Jean also has over 20 years of industry experience. Currently she is responsible for the execution of Brinker Capital’s business development and relationship management strategies for key broker dealer clients. Jean has been an active mentor to young professionals and strongly feels that while she has helped others with their careers, she also has benefited personally from her mentoring experiences. Jean holds FINRA series 7 and 66 licenses and a B.A. from New Jersey City University. She is a member of the Investment Management Consultant Association and was awarded its Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation in 2008.

 

Sheila Stith, CSA

Director

Sheila has over 20 years’ experience working in healthcare benefits. After working with large health insurance companies earlier in her career, Sheila founded her own firm and has worked tirelessly for her clients and community. She is passionate about helping people make the proper assessment of their needs so they never have to choose between healthcare to live or being able to put food on the table.  Sheila is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and has supplemented her individual professional licenses, credentials and education with knowledge about aging and working with seniors. She is a much sought-after expert speaker about Medicare, a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and a WIFS Circle of Excellence qualifier.

 

Stephanie Valentine

Director

Stephanie advanced to her current position by demonstrating her top-notch organizational skills and ability to work with the diverse personalities and dynamics that are germane to a high profile, successful financial services organization. Stephanie is our resident Millennial and she has been a great addition to the leadership team. She brings energy, commitment, passion for the WIFS mission, and humor, not to mention a special creativity that has helped to make chapter events even more interesting and welcoming to attendees.  She is a graduate of Springfield College and she recently passed the Series 7 exam (on the first attempt!).
